Managing the Emotional Impact of COVID-19 – As We Reopen

As we reopen, we will be entering a new post-COVID world. This program describes what that’s going to be like and how best to cope.

As part of a growing training library thorough my new partnership with Marina London called Impact Consulting and Training, we have developed a customized, self-paced course to help learners understand and manage the unique emotional challenges presented by the global Covid-19 pandemic as we slowly reopen. At its peak, some 2.6 billion people around the world were in some kind of lockdown, we are in the midst of the largest psychological experiment in history. Forced to create the best practices toolkit for emotional recovery from the pandemic, we are inventing this wheel. Some of us will experience existential crises that will lead us to question the meaning of our lives. No longer sure about our core beliefs, our occupations, our relationships, or the places where we choose to live, some of us will move, end relationships, start new ones, change jobs, or redefine our concept of self and life. Still others will explore religious/spiritual beliefs or lose their faith. This course helps learners identify a path to emotional recovery.

This pandemic is by definition a universal event. Anyone can benefit from this program curated by two mental health professionals with extensive expertise in stress management and critical event management. So whether you are furloughed, telecommuting, have lost your job or fight on the front lines as a health care professional, first responder or Amazon delivery person, this program is for you.
