Emphasis on altering negative thought patterns, which in turn create negative emotions and undesirable consequences can be seen in the graphic of the cycle that occurs.
Constructive change involves helping clients re-frame negative thoughts into positive ones, which in turn transform feelings and subsequent new outcomes and behavior patterns.
